Brief Of The Programme
The programme was started with welcome address by Dr.S.Mohan Ph.D.,Managing Director AMC College Of Nursing and a key note address by Prof. Angayarkanni Msc(N) Principal AMC College Of Nursing in which the cervical cancer incidence, signs & symptoms and the importance of early detection has been addressed. Followed by, the flag waving by the chief guest Mr. Radhakrishnan Sub-Inspector of police, karumathampatti police station.
The rally was started from Coimbatore district karumathampatti to somanur power house. The pamphlets containing the meaning of cervical cancer, warning signs, incidence prevention and treatment methods, were distributed to the public. The programme was ended up with vote of thanks by Ms. Sweety Beulah Bsc(N) health day club coordinator.

Brief Of The Programme
- The programme was started by welcoming the primary health centre members. And the students are assessed with anthropometric measurements, Hb evaulation, TD ( Tetanus Diptheria ) vaccination followed by consultation from Medical Officer under the scheme of “Adolescent Health Camp”
- The required students are collected with Complete Blood Count (CBC) sampling, given with Tablet.Ferrous sulphate 325mg and follow up of the students has been carried out.
- Then the students are provided with Tablet.Albendazole 400 mg and were educated about the worm infestation.
