Student Nurses Association

The Student Nurses’ Association of India (SNAI) is an affiliated association of the student nurses under the umbrella of TNAI. The main purpose behind the establishment of SNAI was to uphold the dignity and to promote a team spirit among students with professional ethics.

SNA unit is developed in all the Nursing institutes to develop a sense of professionalism among Nursing students and its mandatory for the Nursing students to obtain a membership in SNA to gain the benefits of TNAI and SNAI.

The SNA will take up the following functions.

  • Organizes meeting to discuss professional and educational contents at the unit level periodically.
  • Participate in state and national level meetings and conferences held periodically.
  • Conduct state level seminar, workshop and conferences.
  • Organize and participate in literary skill competencies, fine art competencies, sports and socio-cultural activities and exhibitions.
  • Maintain unit diary about its activities and achievements
  • Creating an opportunity to publish articles and write ups in journals.
  • Organizes fund rising activities to financially strengthen the SNA unit.
  • Introduce Nursing and its scope to the new comers to Nursing profession.
  • Conduct various functions and educational programmes at college level.
