“Ragging” is a social menace, as such has no place in academic environment of the institute and concerted effects are required to be in place to prevent is occurrence at any point of time. The institution has adopted the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical university prevention and prohibition of ragging -Regulation 2010 (as per UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging (G.O (MS) No.126, in higher educational institutions, 2009 and act of the tamil Nadu prohibition of ragging Act 1997.

Further the Institution follows the policy of zero tolerance to ragging.

The Anti -Ragging policy adopted by the institute:

• Creating ragging free atmosphere in and outside the campus
• Creating awareness among students regarding acts and punishments pertaining to ragging activities
• Creating cordial relations among students for fulfilling organizations mission and objectives
• Creating awareness among students regarding how the self confidence of the individual influences the national interest.
